About Able Psychiatry
Able Psychiatry was founded in 2016 in Chicago, Illinois, as an inclusive practice deeply rooted in empathy, curiosity, and integrative care.
We're humans first—real people with our own lived experiences, vulnerabilities, and personal stories. We chose this work because we genuinely care, strive to understand deeply, and want to support meaningful changes in your life.
We believe accurate assessments depend on thoroughly understanding and mapping each individual's unique life experiences. Our approach goes beyond standard practice, integrating therapy-informed interviewing as both a therapeutic tool and a crucial guide for precise medication management.
Our treatments are thoughtful, solution-focused, and personalized—prioritizing both immediate relief and sustainable long-term improvement.
Collaboration is central to our practice. Your active participation shapes your care, generates meaningful insights, and directly leads to better outcomes.
Our founder earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from The University at Buffalo School of Medicine, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a comprehensive background in science. The practice has been proudly serving the Chicago community since its establishment in 2016.
